No mast readily available

No mast and no mast that can be found on website to use with this base mount makes it almost useless. I cannot find a mast that will work with this base. The instructions recommend a mast but it is no longer available.
It Took Some Doing To Put it Together I Did Not Find Any Instructions On How To Put It Together. I Had To Look It Up To See The Diagram of The Photo
